McCaysville is a small town located in Fannin County. It sits right on the Georgia state line adjacent to Copperhill, Tennessee. There’s actually a blue line marking the boundary where you can have one foot in Georgia and the other in Tennessee.
You can take a walk down Toccoa Avenue where you find antiques, specialty shops, galleries and restaurants. If you want, keep walking by the river to hit Horseshoe Bend Park. Then when your done, you could hop on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway and visit one of the neighboring cities such as Blue Ridge.
